CONCERT FOR UKRAINE is dedicated to raising funds for a special project for children affected by war in Ukraine, run by the charity HEART FOR UKRAINE.
Since 2015, musicians from Berlin have travelled to war-torn cities on the Ukrainian front line and carried out cultural and rehabilitation projects under the name “Musik Rettet” - Music Saves.
Beginning in the summer of 2016, the charity have organised summer camps, bringing war-traumatised children and adolescents to Germany for two weeks for recovery and rehabilitation, where the children take part in musical, artistic and therapeutic workshops, enjoy the tranquillity and nature, experience the colourful city of Berlin and European traditions and culture.
